Way back in November, a couple of cool things happened: it snowed, and Stefan's parents came to visit for 2 weeks. The added bonus is that it snowed while they were here!

Stella and Fiona's preschool teacher took this photo on the playground and sent it to me:Here's Fiona making a snow angel:Here's Stella laughing because she ate some snow:Suddenly I looked up the hill, and here come Stefan, Stella and Fiona on a borrowed sled:

Stefan's parents spent their first week at a bed and breakfast 2 blocks from our house. Then the day before it snowed and created havoc on the streets of Seattle, they moved to a vacation rental across the street from my friend Brigette's house. On the 3rd snow day (no school), Stefan took the girls up there and they had some fun in the yard...

And, on another day, the cold weather outside didn't deter the swimsuits from being put on inside:
In early December, my brother and sister in law came and stayed with us for a few days. We haven't seen them in almost a year. It only took about 20 minutes before Christopher was asked to sit at their table and cut paper with them, and by the end of the visit, the girls were running and jumping up into their arms.

(After) Dinner at Rose and Robert's with Christopher and Amy:It always strikes me as funny when someone tells me I'm tall. Look at this photo! Even kneeling, Robert is only a head shorter than I am. I think that at 5'6", I'm pretty average.
