The second half of our Vienna trip was just as easy as the first. It included asking beloved Thomas and Kathi to babysit Stella and Fiona while we went to go watch our friend Luis's band (Kommando Elefant) play at a music festival. This was the first time we'd left them for any amount of time in 2 years. The previous experience left us scarred and not wanting to put any potential babysitters through such hell.
Oh - the girls? While they hugged our knees and squeaked "You're back!" when we walked in the door, they had a blast playing with Stefan's parents, brothers and Kathi. We weren't missed.
We also spent 2 glorious days in Grabelsdorf - a little lakeside town about 3 hours from Vienna. Our friend Milan has a family cabin there, and he and his family were spending some time away from the city with their newest addition Baby Ian. While there, we experienced an impressive thunderstorm, went to the lake, saw many chickens crossing roads, and most importantly, enjoyed the company of good friends.

And, this post wouldn't be complete with out a few photos from the Clothing Optional For Those Under Three Car Wash...
